At its production site in Bünde, East Westphalia , Germany, SITRAPLAS manufactures engineering plastic compounds based on various polymers and their blends. The company processes materials such as PC, PC+ABS, ABS, PMMA, PBT, and other polymers and polyolefins, which are modified according to customer-specific requirements.

Under brand names such as SITRALON®, SITRAMAC®, and SITRADUR®, these compounds are used in a variety of industrial applications, particularly in the automotive industry. Other application areas include the home appliance, electrical and electronics, and medical technology sectors. Products are supplied from the Bünde facility and through distribution partners to international production sites.
The company's success is based on an interdisciplinary team that oversees the development and production of plastic compounds. The team's expertise in process engineering, formulation, and colorimetry forms the foundation for developing application-specific materials with defined properties and quality requirements.
