SITRAPLAS Introduces “ExtruSense” – a New Platform for Transparent Process and Operational Data Analysis

SITRAPLAS is introducing ExtruSense, a new company-wide visualization solution for process and operational data. The platform is designed to make production processes more transparent, enable informed real-time decision-making, and sustainably increase efficiency throughout the entire value chain.

SITRAPLAS will be showcasing ExtruSense for the first time at the Kuteno trade show. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the visualization system interactively and in a practical setting on a touchscreen at booth H14 in Hall 20.

With ExtruSense, SITRAPLAS consolidates machine, process, and energy data from various sources into a single, intuitive interface. The application allows users to view relevant metrics in real time at any time, identify deviations early on, and address areas for optimization in a targeted manner.

The platform is based on modern interface standards and integrates, among other things, machine controls, peripheral devices, and energy monitoring systems. This brings together previously isolated data sources and maps them within a consistent data model.

ExtruSense offers, among other things:

Analysis of process parameters throughout the extrusion and compounding processes
Clear overview of energy consumption (electricity, water, gas)
Customizable dashboards for various business units
Early warning systems for detecting deviations and process instabilities
